ALW Dance is a leading dance school that is dedicated to nurturing the love for dance in students of all ages. Our mission is to provide exceptional dance education in a supportive and inclusive environment. With a team of highly experienced instructors, we offer a wide range of dance classes that cater to different interests and skill levels. Whether you're looking to pursue dance professionally or simply enjoy dance for fun and exercise, ALW Dance is the place for you. All our teachers are fully trained & are DBS checked.

Miss Amy
Principal
Miss Amy started dancing when she was 2 years old at her local dance school and then went on to study professionally at The Centre. Whilst training Amy gained her teaching qualifications alongside enjoying some performing experiences. After qualifying Amy taught in various dance schools in Hertfordshire and London.
Amy moved to Wiltshire and began ALW Dance in 2009, her love and passion for making dance accessible to everyone has seen her dance school grow. ALW Dance offers dancers lots of exciting opportunities alongside regular weekly classes. Alongside the running of ALW Dance, Amy also teaches at a local primary school teaching all year groups dance every week as part of their curriculum.
Miss Zoe
Teacher
Zoe has taught gymnastics for over 15 years in clubs, academic schools and dance schools. Zoe holds British Gymnastics qualifications in pre-school and early years gymnastics, women’s artistic gymnastics, regular gymnastics, acro and trampolining.
Zoe has been teaching at ALW Dance for 6 years and she enjoys teaching our Acro classes to a variety of students. Zoe develops classes with a holistic approach, encouraging a positive mindset and sense of wellbeing throughout each class. Zoe also teaches personal social development in post 16 education.


Miss Bruna
Teacher
Bruna holds a 1st honours class degree in Dance : Urban Practice at the university of East London. Bruna has a wealth of experience and has taught all ages from beginner to advanced. Bruna has choreographed and coached dance crews for competitions and has also been a judge at a competition which was a role she really enjoyed!
Bruna likes to create a safe and fun environment in her classes where students can grow as dancers and build confidence.
Miss Maria
Teacher
Maria is a classically trained actor who has performed for audiences across the Uk and Europe, including a one woman show at the Edinburgh Festival. Most recently she has performed as part of Theatre Royal Bath’s new writing festival and in the National Theatre production of The Odyssey.
Maria has been a Youth Theatre Director and Performing Arts Tutor for nearly a decade. Recent shows include Matilda, Annie, Addams Family and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, to name a few!
Maria is also a LAMDA tutor, preparing students for their Musical Theatre and Verse and Prose exams. Her students have a 100% pass rate and she loves to watch their confidence and resilience grow.


Mimi
Teaching Assistant
Mimi has a wonderful passion for dance. She has been dancing with ALW Dance from the age of 2 and has never stopped! Alongside Mimi’s regular classes she has begun her teacher training exams successfully passing her ballet and modern training. Mimi also attends the Swindon CAT programme weekly after successfully auditioning and gaining a place on the course. Mimi is also part of our competition team and recently was awarded ‘most inspirational dancer’ out of hundreds of dancers! Mimi enjoys choreographing and has had great success with her own pieces being awarded at competitions.
Mimi lives for dance and you will usually see her throughout the week helping others in classes.
